Last year we celebrated the 10th Anniversary of RoadCem in the UK.
Well on looking through the Dutch archives recently we came across the following report of a large soil stabilisation project carried out for Tesco Stores on a very difficult looking site close to Great Yarmouth exactly 2o years ago
The following detailed report identifies the the ground problems on this site with soft alluvial soils and a high tidal saline water table.
If there is anybody that remembers working on this project we would love to hear from them.
Another point to consider, this project is numbered GB 0009. So either there were eight previous UK RoadCem jobs, or who ever put this excellent report together wanted to give the impression that the technology was used regularly in the UK.
